Youtube naming causes errors while downloading?

Hi there:

I am not sure whether it is an FRD issue or plugin one.

There is an error msg: "No available Youtube media"

However, I can watch the following videos by using Chrome, but I cannot download them

I guess it is naming problems...but I am not sure

The following are some problematic links from the same channel.

For the other videos in the the same channel, there is NO problem at all.

I just found all the youtube dl links NOT working anymore....

Maybe, Youtube has changed its protocol....

I can confirm this, YouTube downloader stopped working for most videos. An interesting thing I've noticed is the YouTube Center Developer plug-in for Firefox and Video Downloader Helper plug-ins for Firefox also stopped detecting the video. YouTube might be hiding the video better somehow.

Tato myšlienka je fajn ale zdá sa mi, že rovnaký 4-miestny kód je generovaný pokaždé graficky trochu inak.

Takže či by to vôbec nejak pomohlo... B)

UPDATE: Uloz.to teraz v posledných dňoch zdá sa nepožaduje opisovanie kódu u všetkých (len veľkých?) súborov.

Hi,
again with the
"File name/size not found"..
I'm having many links waiting, this is a nightmare, because 3GB it says 18 hrs download time from my default proxy.. If I won't get others (possibly faster) proxies working too, I'll be downloading for years:(

Please, help.

EDIT:
Could it be because the links are password protected?
I know the passsword, but FRD has NOT prompted me for it.
It started to download the first link (from my default proxy) very slowly (like I said it should take 18 hours) without any password and for all the other links it says ""File name/size not found" ..
Please if you can help me, I have direct downloads enabled but else don't know what to do. I need to get multiple downloads going because of the hope some proxies would be faster than mine. Else I really won't download this for years LOL

Sure enough, your non-music youtube video does play natively in latest VLC 3.0.7.1-x86 :-)
The fact is them Google people (owners of youtube) have, once again, CHANGED recently their "page" code to cripple downloading scripts/software, each one to varying degree...

Less hit are implementations relying on youtube-dl Python script (latest MPC-BE nightly, v1.5.4.4577beta, as well as MPC-HC 1.8.6.9 + youtube-dl v2019.06.08 can play ALL yt videos).

FRD is one of the apps fatally affected; one of the (very few active :-() devs will have to mitigate the Google inflicted changes and patch the yt plugin...

I can't get the tutorial video's to work.
No matter what I do ikget the Camtasia Studio message.
Isn't there another format or location that they're available?

I have a same issue -- No Available youtube media-- Are there any fix? I used other application without any issue. I hate to see FreeRapid closed the door.

The plugin gets the wait time from 1fichier
Creating a free Registered account may reduce the wait times.

Hi, Birchie, boy :)-D

I updated the plugin and now FRD is asking me what is the password. That's more like it;)

Sometimes I see the 'file/size not found' still, but it goes away after another attempt.

The links are now downloading!:)

So, thank you for this fix.

Your work is always fast (unlike the slow FileFactory, heh) and great.

Each of the audio/video data sources no longer contains a security code
and the plugin considers that no sources are valid because of this change
then gives the error message "No available Youtube media"

I wasn't the one who got it working and don't have the time to look into it further...

Well, I guess I'll have to move on to another tool. I tried YouTube-dl.exe, but even with the right command and it says the download finished, I can't find the downloaded file. I did find an online downloader that works, so I guess I'll use that for now.

Is Keep2share Premium still supported?

Dear all,

I have recently purchased a 30-days Premium Pro plan with Keep2share and to my surprise, every time I add a keep2share link, I get an error and I am unable to download anything.

About a year ago I never had this problem and I am wondering if the keep2share Premium plugin is no longer working inside Free Rapid or keep2share is no longer supported by this great download manager software.

Many thanks for any feedback and help.

Are there any other plugins inside Free Rapid that are no longer working?
