maybe youtube sents out lower bitrate videos when the server is under heavy use ?

Probably they were served by different servers, and one of the server acted funny, it happened before. Or perhaps just incorrect parsing on youtube plugin, but I haven't seen evidence in this particular case, I still can't reproduce it.

With nitroflare.com, I got the standard recaptcha window (the impossible one). Not the one that you posted at the beginning of this thread. I even tried to launch in -p (portable) mode. I done the updates and recaptcha.frp v1.1 appears during the update plugin summary (it does not appear in the list of the menu /options/plugins). Slimerjs folder is placed within /tools folder, unpacked from the .zip full version of 36Mb or so, following your indications. I do not have installed firefox. An excerpt of the log that comes running FRD with the -p attribute is the following. I notice that here Slimmerjs is mentioned with doube "m". Thanks for any feedback.

Please try plugin v1.1.2.
If it still doesn't work please consider to upgrade your Java to Java 8: [www.oracle.com] as we ceased to test FRD under Java 6.

At least with my specs (winXP, java 1.6).
The latest java is no longer XP compatible. But I tried initially java v.1.8 (another build) with the same FRD errors, as the one shown above. Now the updated recaptcha 1.1.2 has made FRD work at the first attempt (no java update needed!).

Yes, JRE 1.8 /Java 8 (now in version 8u65, released on Oct 20, 2015)

However, previous JRE 1.7/Java 7 is the last major version with
