Working fine here, albeit in very low speeds
(~ 59kBps) in free mode (see attachment).

After a 1min countdown, I was presented
with a very easy (4 capital letters) captcha code,
submitted successfully and after yet another 1min
countdown the (slow as hell) download began...

Keep in mind that:

1. In peak hours, the free download slots
are fewer in numbers, to cater for paying customers.
2. Often turbobit block for 10-15min IP ranges
from several countries (this is very frequent for
my physical location, Greece). In this event,
you should try later or (if possible) use a VPN
to change IP address to a non-blocked region...

I often use turbobit in free mode and have found
that I have better chances if I try late at night
(23:00 UTC and later...)
